A Headshot Experience You'll Never Forget

Authentic & Fun! These are the first two words that came to mind when I had my session with Landen. I was nervous & excited - trying to figure that combination and come across as calm and collected did not work out for me, but Landen used it to our benefit. Since I had never done a headshot session before, I wasn't quite sure what to expect outside of my assumptions. I will never think of turtles or giraffes in quite the same way ever again. HA! Once I mustered the courage to share my results with the team, friends & family, positive feedback about my character and personality genuinely and authentically were captured, and I have to agree. I thoroughly enjoyed this experience, and I plan to do it again in the future.

My greatest concern any time I hire someone to take my photos is whether or not they will let me be me and capture that on film. Fortunately, Landen does an amazing job of bringing out the best of you, you. And to make things even better he does with a fun energetic spirit that makes it easy to keep smiling and posing as he pulls out the best! Truly amazing photographer!

Headshot session today tops all the ones I’ve ever had done over my career. His eye for the details that can project just the right image for the brand I’m representing along with his innate ability to make me feel as comfortable as possible through multiple outfit changes and shots. Like most people, when it comes to taking a photo of yourself, there's a strong sense of trepidation. I was no different, so when Landen approaches me about updating my profile photo, I had conflicting emotions. But Landen provided me with the benefits, impact, and focus on taking a new profile photo. When we did the photoshoot, Landen made the process fun and effortless. And the final picture, well the photo has exceeded my expectations! But most importantly, my best client, my wife really loves the picture!

I am extremely grateful for Landon Conner, and the fantastic images he took of me and the overall experience. I have never thought of myself as photogenic, but I needed a more recent head shot for use for marketing material. "Stand up straight and smile," was what I expected, but to my surprise, Landon engaged me conversation and asked me about my business. Landon explained how the components of the final shot, and how even small changes make all of the difference in the resulting impression and "feeling" evoked by an image. I so rarely post any photos of myself, I had the expectation of a few perfunctory "likes" and the general comments of politeness. More than one hundred (130) likes, loves, and comments appeared in the first twelve hours! My mind is forever changed about smiling and having photos taken. A million thanks for unbelievable experience that will extend far beyond the photo itself.

I felt very comfortable taking pictures before I arrived. I had no expectations, but was open to learning about how I can take better pictures for marketing purposes and I learned posture is important when conveying my brand message. Working with Landen was absolutely amazing, because he is really gifted at what he does! I didn't the hand gestures impact the posture of the pictures.

This is my first time ever getting my headshot taken. So coming into this I was extremely nervous and I didn't know to expect. However after the headshot was taken, my experience was totally flipped. Afterwards, I had a wonderful time working with Landen. When first doing the headshot, Landen did a simple technique that made the headshot process simple and quick. He gave me a lot advice when taking the headshot that gave me more confidence in how I appeared. After Landen showed me how well the headshot turned out, I felt very relieved about the whole experience. Once I had finished the photoshoot, I was able to speak to Landen. Speaking to Landen was a great experience and really glad I was able to work with him for my first ever photoshoot. He made my experience one of a kind, and I am truly glad Landen was the person to take my first headshot. I hope to continue to work with Landen in the future when I need headshots, and anything else taken. Overall, I want into this headshot not knowing what exactly to expect, then leaving having a complete 180 feeling, I felt more confidence in how I looked and feeling relieved about the experience. All this is due to the great photographer who helped me throughout the whole process, Landen Conner.

Landen is the real deal. From making you feel comfortable to understanding that brand is more than just an image of yourself. His ability to do excellent work and accomplish goals sets him apart. Landen has a kingdom focus with his heart and his lens. I love the "depth" of the image he created for us.
